
Ingredients layered pumpkin pie
1 packages (8oz) cream cheese - softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 unbaked pie shell or make your own 9"
1 can 16oz. solid pack pumpkin
1 cup evaporated milk
2 eggs beaten
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar -packed
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg( I used pumpkin pie spice)
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp butter- softened
1/2 cup chopped pecans
how to make layered pumpkin pie
Have pie shell ready. Then in mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add 1/4 c. Granulated sugar, vanilla mix well. Add. 1 egg; beat until smooth. Spread over bottom of pie shell. Chill 30 min. Oven should be at 350° .
In mixing bowl, beat next 8 ing. Until smooth. Carefully pour over the cream cheese filling. Cover edges of pie with foil. Bake at 350° for 30 min. Remove foil; bake for 25 min longer.
Meanwhile mix the flour, brown sugar and butter until crumbly, stir in pecans. Sprinkle over top of pie. Bake 10-15 min.more or until knife comes out clean. Cool. Store in fridge.
