1 kg Carrots
2 tbsp Sugar/Jaggery
2 tbsp Ghee
15 Almonds
15 Kishmish
2 pinch Cardamom powder
10 Cashews
200 grams khoya
how to make gajar ka halwa
Grate carrots evenly
Pressure cook grated carrots and sugar until 3 whistles.
Take pressure cooked carrots in a pan and slow cook until all the moisture has drained.Add cardamom powder.
On medium flame In a wok (kadhai) add ghee and add chopped nuts. Add the cooked carrots and cook for few minutes on medium flame.
Garnish with grated khoya and serve hot.
