
Ingredients potatoes au gratin
12 medium – sized potatoes cooked
6 tbsp butter
6 tbsp flour
3 tsp salt
4 cup milk heated
2 cup shredded cheese
1 pepper
how to make potatoes au gratin
Cook potatoes then dice
Melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the flour and seasoning
Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture bubbles
Gradually add the milk,and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until the sauce boils and thickens
Stir in 3⁄4 cup grated cheese and the diced potatoes
Turn into a baking dish, top with the rest of the cheese
Bake at 375°F about 15 minutes, until the cheese melts and browns
