Ingredients lemon pie


Filling
3 egg yolks
1 can (14oz) Eagle Brand sweet ended condensed milk
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 baked pie crust
meringue
6 egg whites
2 tsp vanilla extract or cream of tartar
1/2 cup sugar

how to make lemon pie


Preheat oven 325°F. Beat egg yolks, gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk & lemon juice.


Pour into crust. Bake 30-35 minutes or until set.


To make Meringue: Beat egg whites on high really good. Add vanilla & sugar. Continue to beat on high till a non-glossy look is achieved.


After pie is cooked, add meringue to top and cook in oven till tips are brown.
