
Ingredients fried pork chops
4 cup vegetable oil
8 pork chops about 1 inch thick
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 tsp pepper
3 tsp garlic powder
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 pinch celery seeds
2/3 cup buttermilk
1 1/3 cup all purpose flour
how to make fried pork chops
heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F
season pork chops on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic, cayenne and celery seeds
pour over milk to coat both sides
place flour in a shallow dish. dip pork chops into flour and coat well
using tongs, gently lower chops into skillet. fry 8-10 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. transfer chops to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. serve hot
